A project to empower high schoolers that are interested in business who face socioeconomic disadvantages, as well as young entrepreneurs who face similar inequality by conducting interviews and open meetings with business executives that have faced such obstacles, but have managed to become successful.

The Problem:

• 85% of students from low-income families are less likely to have access to a business mentor

• Only 16% of entrepreneurs come from low-income backgrounds

Many high schoolers and young entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds face significant barriers to success in the business world. These challenges include limited access to resources, mentorship, and networks, which can hinder their potential.

Without proper guidance and inspiration from those who have overcome similar obstacles, their dreams of succeeding in business may seem out of reach. This project seeks to bridge that gap by connecting them with successful business leaders who have faced and conquered these challenges.
